Direct RTI Filed to ask specifics of Arvind Kejriwal Degrees, Holding in Trusts, HUFs and whether his family members directly/indirectly are executing any government contracts.
Also information requested is whether his HUFs/Trusts hold any assets and entities that are executing govt contracts or receiving grants/subsidies.
Arvind Kejriwal has recently increased Delhi MLA pay substantially and Delhi MLAs are one of the highest paid MLAs.
RTI was denied by Amit Kumar. A call to CMO did not get any response. While RTI should have response under designation of Public Information Officer and while this was direct RTI to Arvind Kejriwal, it is surprising to see Amit Kumar responding signing as Superintendent(Admin). If he is PIO, he should have signed as PIO and given details of Appellate Authority also.
Also it is clear that Amit Kumar has responded under instructions of Arvind Kejriwal and that on the date when RTI was received by Arvind Kejriwal the CIC order in matter of Hemant Dhage was in force that one can file direct RTI to MP/MLAs and that Arvind Kejriwal purposefully waited for Delhi High Court stay on this order. The letter mentions that the CIC order was stayed on 10.06.2016 but this was never published in Media and also no details are found on indiakanoon website of this stay.
Investigation is on on who requested stay against this order.
Arvind Kerjiwal who has asked on PM’s degree clearly is shying and playing shoddy games when it comes to disclosure at his end.
It is surprising that Arvind Kejriwal remained in Delhi as Income Tax Officer for so long without transfer and same holds for his wife. Isn’t this against the laws?
It is clearly evident that once again Arvind Kejriwal is trying to apply a ruling with retrospect effect which is common practice used by politicians to cover their wrongs.
Kejriwal who won Magsaysay award for his work in creating awareness about RTI should have set an example by responding to this RTI and this would have opened up doors for others to seek similar information from their MP/MLAs. On the contrary he should have done this regardless of Delhi HC stay as he projects himself to be one of the most honest politician in India.
But by denying this RTI Kejriwal clearly stands exposed.
